Leinster Minor Schools Gala

Sunday saw copious amounts of primary school children descend upon the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin.

It was the day for young swimmers to represent their schools in the annual Leinster Minor Schools competition.

It was a day of fantastic swimming, with numerous personal bests achieved, and with smiles all round children posed with medals and hats with our special guest of the day, Olympian Ellen Walshe.

Not only were the smiles for the medals and getting to meet an inspirational hero like Ellen, but also for the several qualification times achieved, for the Irish Minor Schools gala that will be held in March.
