The Leinster region welcomes our new Regional Pathway Development Coach

The Leinster region would like to welcome Helen Kennedy as the new Regional Pathway Development Coach.

Helen succeeds Mark Lappin, who stepped down from the role in April and she is a highly respected figure within the Irish swimming community. She joins us from Trident Swimming Club and has made significant voluntary contributions in the Connacht Region, serving as Chairperson of the Connacht Regional Coaching Advisory Group and supported the delivery of the Regional Programme

With a strong coaching background in both swimming and gymnastics, Helen brings a wealth of experience to the region and will work closely under the leadership of the Interim Performance Director, Andrew Reid.

We would like to welcome Helen to her new role and are excited to see the experience and intiatives she will bring to the region!
